Chinedu Nwadike is one of Imo's finest exports in gospel music. With his voice, he has brought joy to homes and woken depressed souls. His live band ignited campaign rallies, crusades and many social functions. Unlike some of us, Chinedu doesn't ruffle feathers, even when it is obvious that he is aligned to one politician or the other. He sticks to his game of mobilizing support for his preferred politician or political Party, and leaves the others to do their thing.
Chinedu is a young father, a loving husband and a helper to many young musicians, extended family members and friends.
Chinedu doesn't deserve to die this young. He needs another chance at living. Yes, he has been diagnosed of blood cancer and kidney dysfunction, but those are not death sentences. With the right help coming his way, Chinedu can regain his health, bounce back on his feet and continue to croon those songs that arouse our love for God and bring peace to our hearts. Most importantly, Chinedu will return to give his beautiful children the love and care they deserve.
The Imo State Government should take it as a responsibility to come to the aid of this young man. Whatever amount of money is required to ensure that Chinedu wins this struggle against these ailments, the Imo State Government should please spend it, and God will be happy they did and Imo people will appreciate it.
Good spirited Imolites like Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, Ugonna Ozurigbo, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah etc have already extended their support to the young man, but what they have donated hasn't gone anywhere to defraying the huge bills he has already accumulated, talk more of being enough to sponsor his recommended trip abroad for the treatment. I appeal to other Imolites and Nigerians to come to Chinedu's aid and I am confident that they will not regret investing in saving this highly inspiring musician.- Jones Fcc Onwuasoanya.
