From a very young age, Karol Wothyla has been known to be a sports enthusiast. One of the very first sporting activities he engaged in was swimming; this he learned by age four. In Primary School, he discovered football and basketball which he played for recreational purposes. For his secondary school education at St. Peter’s Senior High School, he took steps to be more athletic thus joined the basketball team. He also took up Discus, Shot Puts and Javelin Throw competitively so that he was a representative for his school at various competitions.
At the Tournoi Juniors CEDEAO in 2012, Karol won a bronze medal. In the following year at the Milo International School Sports, challenging himself and pushing harder, he won a gold medal. Karol realizing the potential he had in sports, made a decision to pursue sportsmanship professionally but did not have the physique to withstand the intensity of training athletes usually go through. He therefore started bodybuilding and when he realized how much he loved it, begun to spend more time at the gym rather than on the field.
His hard work and striking transformation made him an inspiration to others so that they began to call on him to help them with their training at the gym.One step at a time, he has now built the Blueprint Personal Training Studio which started operating in December 2017 and is now an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer.

Sharing his Experiences, Karol Wothyla shared his before and after photos and wrote:
"Was it easy? No, it wasn’t. This pandemic took a toll on all of us. My business was severely affected and this caused me some stress and depression. Without realising it, I moved from eating healthy to stuffing myself with junk. When I started gaining weight, I lied to myself that I was on a strength training course but who was I kidding? I managed to get a body weight of 117kg which was fair to me at the time. I had the entire gym to myself, yet I only used it a few times a week. I ate late at night, slept late and soon enough forgot what made me happy; the things that come together to make me who I am today, the very things that kept me going and all of the good things those positivities brought my way.
I had a wake up call from someone very dear to me and this helped turn things around. I changed my mindset (it did not happen in a day, trust me). I went from 6 to 2 meals daily. I ran 2km daily. I was fasting and training at the same time. I cut out sugar and salt and increased my daily water intake from 4 to 5 litres. In 21 days, I had lost 15kg of retained waters as well as fat.
It really wasn’t easy but I had to be disciplined, dedicated and have a sense of direction; this I call it The 3D Effect.
Once your limitless mind can conceive this, you can certainly achieve this."
