He's not my biological son, however I've looked after him since he was 8years old. Fast forward over 10yrs and he's grown into a fine young man. He's learning and absorbing all the ways to be successful. I'm not writing this to get a pat on the back for being a father to him or for a "well done" comment.
I'm writing this because his own father has been absent for years and he's had a tough time understanding that, however he's been resilient, strong and commitment to being a good person and a good father in life one day.
In this world, the best gift you can give someone is to teach, motivate and believe in them. I believe we all have to give back in life. My way of giving back is to motivate and help others. I'll do that until I draw my last breath. I'm proud of you and the young man you've become. Keep up the good work. My teachings will be even more useful to you one day when I'm long gone.

Speech Deficiency At 5: Charles Mances recalled his peech impediment and learning disorder at age 5 and wrote on his Instagram page;
"If someone’s ever tried to label you something that wasn’t true this is for you!
At 5 I was put into special education. I was diagnosed with the following: learning disorder, sever speech impediment, and emotionally disturbed. A lot of labels for a 5 year old.
I saw things no kid should ever see. Teachers beating on kids, kids beating on teachers.
It was all so crazy and knew I didn’t belong there and my mom knew it as well.
She used to tell me don’t believe what they say about you. She reminded me everyday that I was smart, I was capable and I wasn’t the labels they put on me. Looking back this is alot for a young kid to take it!
At a young age I learnt that someone’s perception of you doesn’t have to be your reality.
It was hard because I couldn’t read and I used to stutter really bad but being in that environment almost made me believe it was true. So it didn’t help.
Finally after years of fighting for it I got given an amazing speech therapist and was put into a great school.
In this picture I’m speaking to a couple hundred people reading out the biography of some famous dancer (another story). This wasn’t the end but the beginning.
