Dr. Harvey Olufunmilayo, a Nigerian doctor who migrated to the in 2016, has revealed how he was able to buy a house.
According to doctor, he cultivated a savings habit which enabled him save as much as 500-1000£ every month.
He wrote:
“2019, God gave me a house.
Not rented. My own home.
4bedroom. With a garden. In England.
For a boy that only came to UK with 2travelling bags in 2016, I’m in tears.
My prayer for everyone that follows me or sees this is that God will grant all your heart’s greatest desires
And to those asking-
The interiors were totally all designed by me. The choice of the colours, furniture, paints and wallpapers were all picked by me.
The walls were all white when the house was sold. I felt it was a little boring and it would be nice to spice things a little.
And all this happened since September 2019. But I’ve had a few things going on in my life to sort and a major exam in October also- which I just passed last week.

Rape Accusations Against Dr. Funmilayo By Doctor Bola Aseyan
Bola Aseyan claimed Dr. Funmilayo has been sexually and emotionally abusing her for many years and she only decided to come out now because she can not take it anymore. Sharing her story on Twitter, many people have taken sides as some went further to analyse her story.
The Lady, Bola Aseyan @bola_aseyan also a medical doctor in Nigeria took to Twiter, to call him out for sexually and emotionally abusing her in the UK. She alleged that Dr Funmilayo has sexually and emotionally abused her for so long but she hid it in order not to be in the news for the wrong reasons.
On why she didn’t press charges against him for rape, she said, “I didn’t press charges, only because you would lose your license to practise, and I cannot bear to carry that much guilt in my heart. Even with everything that you’ve done, I’m still not a mean spirited person. I leave you to God to judge you, and my head will judge you!!”
She went to share screenshot of her chat with another lady who claimed Dr Funmilayo attempted to rape her.
